There is a particular stillness in the second before a wave breaks. This painting lives in that pause — turquoise pushing forward, white holding the edge, the whole surface suspended between movement and calm.

Built in layers of fluid acrylic, each pass applied with a wide brush and left to dry before the next. The canvas texture shows through where the paint thins: every mark was made by a hand deciding, in real time, with no turning back.
